Reports to : Procurement Director
Location : Atlanta, GA. Hybrid schedule (2 days in-office)
Compensation : $100k - $115k 15% bonus
Job Summary : The Category Manager has full ownership of their category. Drive the direction of the category. Optimize sourcing strategies and processes. Manage supplier relationships (including plenty of face-to-face time). Sophisticated, industry-leading team that is eager to continually drive improvements while enjoying their job.
Job Requirements :
- BS Degree in Supply Chain or related is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in food industry procurement. Foodservice procurement experience preferred. Supplier or manufacturer experience will be considered.
- At least 2 years of leading direction of a direct, food category (dairy and/or bakery preferred).
- Integrity, ethics, team-player, professional, loyal.
- Strong negotiation skills with an emphasis on financial analysis and strategic thinking.
