Job Overview:

As the Front of House Manager for our Thai and Sushi restaurant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front of house operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service by training and leading front of house staff.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders.
  • Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor and manage reservations, seating arrangements, and wait times to optimize guest satisfaction.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure consistent quality of service, food presentation, and cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Inventory and Supplies:

  • Manage inventory of front of house supplies, such as menus, utensils, and cleaning supplies.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary items.

Training and Development:

  • Conduct ongoing training sessions for front of house staff on customer service, menu knowledge, and upselling techniques.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through team-building activities.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and control front of house expenses within budgetary constraints.
  • Work closely with the management team to contribute to overall financial goals.
