PRN Patient Care Technician

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Patient Care Technician to join the OHOW team for the summer season! This is an ideal PRN student job in pre and post operative care. The hours will vary, but mainly consist of day / early evenings.

You will work for a small, team-oriented organization that values patient and staff satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

  • Aids in movement and placement of patients.
  • Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.
  • Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Customer/patient service experience

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
  • BLS Certificate
