Orthodent Laboratory Inc. (ODL) is Hiring a Customer Service Specialist Near Buffalo, NY

Position: Customer Service Team Member

Reports to: Customer Experience Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm

Job Summary

Providing excellent customer service to doctor’s offices by providing answers and solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls, emails, live chat and text messages with confidence and respond with accurate and thorough information.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up on action items not resolved.
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve customer experience.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing ideals to improve the customer experience.
  • Give constructive feedback on processes and procedures.
  • Support a positive culture by communicating and leading by example.

Required Knowledge:

  • Google Workspace, Slack, HubSpot.
  • Previous experience in the field of dental or orthodontics.
  • The ability to navigate change successfully without hesitation and adapt to new technologies and processes as they are implemented. 
  • Problem-solving-minded by using strategy-based solutions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to embrace cross-training to support a mutually beneficial partnership with ODL.
  • An understanding of the value of working as a team for a shared goal.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 1 year of customer service experience.
