OrthoTennessee is seeking a Pre Certification Coordinator for a Monday through Friday opportunity with flexible scheduling to work remotely with our MRI Department. The Pre Certification Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining authorizations and precertifications for upcoming MRI’s, submit all required information to include procedure and diagnosis codes to utilization management teams, insurance companies, and MCOs, as well as notifies appropriate parties of authorizations or denials; working in conjunction with providers to resolve denials. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and the ability to work both independently and as a team.
