ORS Nasco * MEDCO * is Hiring an ALCO TOOL - Outside Sales Representative Near Elkhart, IN

Shift Time: 7 AM - 3 PM

Position requires on-site presence

Primary Purpose

Manage, grow and develop existing and potential customers. Win-back former customers and convert prospects into customers. Provide a consultative approach to customer and prospect engagement, by getting past the gatekeepers, asking high-value questions, listening and presenting, selling through objections and negotiating the close.

· Research existing and potential customers in assigned territories and book of business, determining priorities, competition, business plan, and a sales and marketing strategy.

· Create, execute, document and track a calling plan for prospects and customers.

· Identify decision makers within targeted businesses, initiate contact with new prospects and establish a preliminary introductory relationship.

· Develop the value proposition of wholesale with targeted customers, using various marketing approaches to educate and influence the prospect.

· Determine which prospective customers will benefit from face-to-face discussions to promote VOW. Present cost and pricing information, along with supplier data, focusing on the cost impact of inventory, and the benefits of a continuing relationship with the distribution network.

· Convert prospects to active customers, closing sales, writing orders and monitoring the engagement of that customer.

· Interact with all areas to ensure accurate and timely integration of new customers within internal systems along with seamless customer service as needed.

· Understand and demonstrate ALCO TOOL & Supply Core Values.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Ability/Other

Ability to manage the full sales cycle with prospective customers, from cold calling, through follow-up and closing, with professionalism and persistence to present the ALCO TOOL & Supply value proposition.

· Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management and technical staff at customer locations, as well as within the company, utilizing verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.

· Strong knowledge of master distributor business model.

· Ability to sell product lines and the financial acumen of wholesale.

· Ability to develop and execute a marketing and sales strategy, including business planning and analytics.

· Ability to work independently or within a team effort, while demonstrating professionalism, flexibility and sense of urgency.

· Computer proficiency, including usage of Microsoft suite and navigation of internal systems.

Education and Experience

· Prior sales experience, in wholesale or industrial markets preferred.

· Associate’s degree preferred.
