Work as an active member of the branch office sales and service team performing a broad variety of tasks and duties that support servicing the customer; provide customers with direct service relating to bank products including opening and
processing new accounts of all types; develop customer relationships so as to take advantage of additional selling and cross selling opportunities; make customer calls; engage in communication with respect to sales objectives, sales performance and other factors affecting the sales and service effort; provide leadership, on-the-Job training and technical guidance to Customer Service Representative positions; may perform various clerical duties; back-up support to teller position may be required.
High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in related banking positions with specialized banking and sales training. Three (3) years of demonstrated success in outside sales may be considered in lieu of banking experience.
Proficient reading, verbal and written communication, mathematical, computer and interpersonal relations skills; strong attention to detail and be highly organized; make practical, common sense decisions; solid working knowledge of bank products; display a clear understanding of the Bank’s products and services; comprehensive knowledge of bank forms and documents used in opening new accounts, operating policies and procedures that impact these products, and technical sales skills sufficient to take advantage of additional selling and cross-selling opportunities.
