Overview

As a Solution Engineering Intern on the Product team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering complete solutions to both the Risk and Core divisions. You will assist other members of the product team to evaluate product gaps, design and build prototypes, provide recommended best practices, and assemble platform components into consumable market offerings.

Origami Risk is currently recruiting for candidates interested in a 12-week, paid, in-person internship based in our Chicago Office during Summer 2024. Interns will be paid a total of $12,600, with the internship program running from May 20th, 2024 through August 9th, 2024.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design sprints to solve product gaps across all markets
• Gather requirements from stakeholders to understand needs for new product features
• Understanding how to take business requirements and turn them into a working product solution
• Build working prototypes to prove out the concept to all stakeholders, as well as to springboard the development effort for coded solutions
• Using our coded platform components, assemble, configure, test, deploy, and socialize our finalized solution templates
• Iterate (test, deploy, and socialize) subsequent versions of our solution templates as needed
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and recommend best practices and standard approaches to enhance time to value for Origami clients

Qualifications

• Must have Junior or Senior standing, and be working on degrees in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Human Centered Design, UX/UI Design, or other technical degrees.
• Experience with SQL & JavaScript are a major plus!
