Qualifications:
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector:
- Expert knowledge for guiding and assessing the Friendly Force Tracking Section.
- Utilizing the Planning and Programming, and Budgeting System to influence requirements, procurement, and resourcing investment decisions.
- Managing and disbursing a budget to maintain and improve theater posture.
- Identifying applications, to include Command and Control concepts and systems and Common Operational Picture to develop problem-solving approaches, funding, and program goals.
Responsibilities:
As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST (FRIENDLY FORCE TRACKING) at the GS-0343-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:- Serves in the Joint Fires Integration Division for the Joint Staff, Deputy Directorate South for Cyber, Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (DDS C5I) of the Joint Staff as a Management and Program Analyst.
- Works closely with counterparts representing the U.S. Services, CCMDs, Agencies, the Joint Staff, NATO, Partner Nations, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
- Coordinates multiple partner nations across NATO and others to form and direct policy for friendly force tracking initiatives.
- Forms teams of subject matter experts to demonstrate FFT initiatives during the JCS annual Bold Quest demonstration.
- Provides program managerial functions, and engagement oversight of key initiatives in the Friendly Force Tracking Section.
