Orca Printing is Hiring a Production Artist Near Memphis, TN
Work closely with Sales and Customers to sometimes design simple signs or banners.
Receive customer files, preview for font,color or other problems and correct or communicate
with customer solutions needed to print. Usually a PDF, or AI. file.
Import into work station, send customer digital proofs thru email and review proofs when returned.
Once files are approved layout 1 -up or multiple up to maximize the sheet or roll size and imposition files for print--check, bleed and build a cut file for the CNC Router to trim to final size.
When not working on the computer-help in print production to finish out banners, signs or posters for customer delivery.
Would be helpful if candidate could operate our equipment- Equipment in-house is Flatbed Printer, 2 roll printers, plotter, laminator and cnc router.

Pay: $32,500.00 - $42,000.00 per year
