What you’ll do

• Design, build, integrate and maintain custom web, mobile, and business applications, APIs, databases, CRMs, ERPs, automations, and other unique solutions tailored to each client’s specific business requirements
• Work closely with Digital Project Managers to turn business needs into technical designs and specifications
• Break down complex client requirements into scalable and performant solutions
• Write high-quality, maintainable code following industry standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues thoroughly and proactively
• Continuously expand your skills and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Communicate collaboratively with different teams including, DPMs, BAs, QA testers, developers, and clients. This includes both verbal and written communication
• Support team growth by mentoring junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
• Provide troubleshooting and debug support for existing codebases and applications
• Contribute your expertise to special projects and initiatives

What we’re looking for

• 5 years experience developing and delivering production web applications
• Experience building scalable cloud-native backend services with PHP and NodeJS (NodeJS-only applicants welcome)
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (VueJS preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of web protocols and APIs (REST, GraphQL)
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, caching, and pub/sub messaging is a plus!
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure is a plus
• Experience with Linux server and/or containerization technologies
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication & collaboration skills
• Focus on security, performance, accessibility, and best practices
• Ability to design systems with stability, scalability, and maintainability in mind
• Passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and techniques
