Under the supervision of Dr. Rashesh Dholakia, a board-certified psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based and patient-centered mental health care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive initial psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications during follow-up appointments, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
• Utilize electronic prescribing systems to streamline medication orders and maintain accurate medication records.
• Collaborate with Dr. Dholakia to review patient progress, discuss treatment strategies, and ensure continuity of care.
• Perform peer chart reviews to maintain quality assurance and adherence to best practices in psychiatric care.
• Obtain vital signs and conduct physical assessments as necessary to monitor patients' overall health status.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately, adhering to facility guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing education, professional development activities, and participation in relevant meetings and conferences.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in the state of Florida.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
