Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Outpatient Clinic Four-Day Weeks: 4 x 10-hour days (Monday through Thursday) Full-Time

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is part of Harmony United Healthcare LLC. We provide comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health, psychiatric, and psychological testing services in Florida through in-person visits and virtually through our secure online telehealth, telepsychiatry platform. We are continually growing our staff and client base at our current locations and developing new locations throughout Florida.
Our team of mental health professionals includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists. We care for adults, adolescents, and children, ages 5 and above.
Our approach is to develop trust and confidence with our clients and treat each patient/client with compassion and respect. We strive to provide the best treatment possible through individualized care for patient/client's specific needs.
Qualifications
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience is required as a Psychiatric NP or less than 5 years as an APRN from another specialty.
  • Must have an active Florida license or be in the process of obtaining
General Responsibilities
  • Assess your patient/client's overall psychological and emotional well-being, prescribe medication, and counsel patients, using a variety of methods to evaluate a patient, such as interviewing the patient, their family, or other persons. Monitor the effects of any medication and adjust treatment where necessary.
  • Develop a treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and the extent of the emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorder.
  • On-call for Emergency and Urgent situations -by phone every 5-6 months (as current staffing allows).
  • Includes seeing scheduled Clients through both in-person and Telehealth visits.
  • Keep up to date with professional job knowledge by reading publications, attending educational conferences, or maintaining professional networks.
  • Attend administrative meetings when required.
Compensation Package
  • Excellent Base Compensation
  • Option of making an additional $30,000 to $37,500 per year
  • Monthly Productivity Bonus
  • Quarterly Performance Bonus

Work Schedule
