Full Job Description

Milestones in Recovery is looking for a registered nurse (RN) interested in an eating disorder facility located in Cooper City, FL to join their interdisciplinary treatment team. The facility is a residential level treatment program in Florida, providing residential, PHP, and IOP treatment services for clients with eating disorders.

Shift Hours:

• Monday-Friday
• Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm

The Nurse will perform the following duties:

• Complete Nursing assessments and Nursing plan of care upon admission
• Observe oral medications
• Call in prescriptions and follow up to different pharmacies.
• Work closely with the Medical and Psychiatric provider in carrying out all orders
• Schedule appropriate appointments for the patients
• Evaluate and upload all weekly lab results and communicate them to Medical/Psychiatric provider
• Work closely with the clinical team in implementing treatment interventions
• Provide meal support with patients as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida state Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN or AAS degree is preferred
• Previous experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or eating disorders is preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Level II AHCA Background Screening

Salary: $30-$40 per hour depending on experience
