Oral Surgery Partners is Hiring a Surgical Assistant - Circulator Near Columbia, SC

Our Midlands Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice is looking for a motivated oral surgery assistant to work in the role of a circulator position.
Must have CPR/BLS certification. At least 1 year or dental experience preferred, but we will train a highly-motivated person with relevant experience or education.
This is a full-time (hourly, non-exempt) position. No Evenings or Weekends!
Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs: 8:00am-5pm, Wednesday 8:00am-3pm, Friday and 7:30am-12:30pm.
Location: 100 Palmetto Health Parkway, Suite 310. Columbia, SC 29212

You may have experience in the dental field and currently hold BLS/CPR Certification.
What you will do:
- Seating, prepping, recovering and releasing patients for/from surgery
- Setting up rooms and trays for surgery
- Taking panoramic and periapical X-rays & 3D scans
- Take impressions/intra oral scans
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Accurately completely operative report
- Making and stocking clinical supplies
- Explaining post-operative care
- Sterilization of surgical equipment
- Checking all documents for accuracy
- Ensure solid communication between patient and doctor
- Filling in for the doctor's surgical assistants
- Monitoring vitals during surgery
- Passing and assisting for procedures
- Strict adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and OSHA regulations/procedures
- Other duties as assigned
