Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with
developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout U.S. May telecommute. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical field and five years of experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
*In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 years of work experience. Position requires:
1. Designing and implementing large-scale global enterprise software solutions and applications in the SaaS and Cloud Native domains.
2. Telecommunications industry and sound understanding of BSS/OSS systems and industry standards including TMForum APIs and ODA.
3. CAGBU BSS/OSS applications including BRM, DX4C, and OSM, and deeply integrate these with other Oracle products at a solution level.
4. Key performance indicators and metrics of these and their impact on sizing models.
5. Architect scalable, low latency cloud-native applications on OCI including OCI patterns for security, networking, scalability, and observability.
6. Design and implement highly automated integration and delivery workflows on OCI.
7. Designing and architecting complex solutions using frameworks including Helidon, GraalVM; low-latency messaging frameworks including Kafka and Pulsar; Oracle Database (ATP, ONDB), Package managers including Helm; CI/CD systems like Verrazzano, Oracle CFS, Argo Workflows, FluxCD.
8. Java and Python programming languages.
