Python Software Developer (Web Scraping)

Rate: $55-$60/hr on a W2, Ongoing Contract, Remote

Del Oro Consulting, a national consulting solutions provider with 20 years’ experience delivering consulting services to global technology leaders in the US is seeking a seasoned Python Software Developer to work with our client, a tech giant.

This consultant must have strong Python programming expertise and a solid grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

The ideal candidate will be adept at developing robust solutions, following best coding practices, and have a track record of working both collaboratively and independently on complex projects. With a focus on web scraping, the consultant will be expected to extract and process data efficiently. Familiarity with AI/ML, cloud services such as AWS, and the ability to create applications, for example, with Streamlit will be considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web scraping tools and data processing scripts.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
• Address and resolve bugs or technical issues.
• Stay updated with new technologies and implement them as needed.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience in web scraping and data extraction.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, AWS is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
• Willing to learn new concepts, skills, and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant experience as a software developer.

Details of Position:

• Work Arrangement: Remote
• $55-$60/hour, Consultant, Ongoing Contract Opportunity on W2
