Who are we looking for?
In this role, you'll be responsible for conceiving, developing, and managing entire products and services in highly scalable cloud infrastructure space. As a member of the product development team, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications, suggest and explain product directions and specifications. You will write great product roadmaps, product planning materials and presentations.
You will lead and coordinate efforts between cross-functional teams to develop premier capabilities on OCI. You will be expected to assess appropriate trade-offs to optimize customer experience, time-to-market, and to clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities.
You will possess a strong Product Management background, an ability to work backwards from the customers and will have experience launching multiple customer-facing products. You are able to thrive in an ambitious environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives but can also roll up your sleeves and get the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, a customer-centric mindset, negotiation skills, ability to influence and analytical talent are critical to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert for a business-critical product area, or having significant reach across several teams and products
  • Plans and drives successful releases of entire products that contain significant scope
  • Improves the team in some subset of product management practices, vision, creativity, ownership, hiring, mentoring and team culture.
  • Plans, documents, and communicates to stakeholders for the business-critical product/service
  • Drives product roadmap and quality based on metrics and data analysis.
  • Identifies and mitigates critical product risks

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
  • MBA preferred
  • 8 years of experience product management, or related relevant experience
  • Extremely strong communication skills, written and verbally
  • Experience building solutions and whitepapers on any cloud/virtualization platform.
  • Experience building highly-available application architecture for cloud
  • Attention to detail and validated ability to lead multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast paced environment
  • Experience interacting with a broad spectrum of IT audience – ranging from CTO/CIO to various levels of engineering
  • Contribution and/or leadership of exceptionally complex, critical projects
