Principal Product Manager 

Are you ready to take a key role in shaping the future of the travel industry? We're seeking a Principal Product Manager who thrives on strategic leadership and innovation. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to drive our growth strategy, bring new travel products to market, and collaborate closely with a fresh engineering team. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships. Join us in revolutionizing the travel experience, where your expertise will be instrumental in our vision to build the worlds most valued travel ecosystem.

Define Product Strategy

  • Contribute to the growth strategy that will shape the company’s future.
  • Craft product strategies that inspire and guide our efforts to build profitable solutions that benefit new and existing customers.
  • Identify and assess new business and product opportunities.
  • Develop partnerships with external partners to accelerate growth.

Deliver Solutions

  • Define a product roadmap and lead delivery of outcome-focused capabilities.
  • Foster learning through the development of data-driven hypotheses and supporting experiments.
  • Partner with engineering and design team members to identify and build solutions.
  • Work across the company to bring products to market.

Be Insight Led

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of customer needs to shape strategy, prioritize investments, and create usable solutions.
  • Sponsor and help execute customer research when needed.
  • Mine a variety of business, product and customer data for insights.
  • Advocate for better data capture, reporting and tracking where it doesn’t exist.
  • Establish product KPIs and objectives. Track and communicate progress.
  • Source insights from market research, competitive intelligence, partner input and internal stakeholders to shape product strategy.

One Team

  • Inspire people around you to passionately work to solve customer and business problems.
  • Consult stakeholders across the company to ensure buy-in for product strategy and execution efforts.
  • Evangelize strategies, roadmaps, learnings, achievements, and failures across a variety of audiences to help everyone at the company stay aligned and grow.
  • Build relationships with product managers across the company and work together to adopt best practices and continuously improve.

Personal Requirements of this Role:

  • Unbridled passion for the travel industry
  • 8 years of experience in product management of consumer-facing products with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience partnering with product design and software engineering teams using product-centric, agile practices to achieve product objectives
  • Experience defining and owning product roadmaps and requirements
  • Experience conducting data analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Experience making data-driven product decisions and building business cases
  • Excellent communication skills to audiences of varying seniority and technical proficiency
  • Ability to collaborate with and effectively influence remote teams in multiple time zones
  • Demonstrated ability improving an organization’s product management practices
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Willing to travel 5 – 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-performance start-up or incubation effort within a larger company
  • MBA
