As Bar Manager, you are responsible for the cyclical maintenance of our beverage program. You will assist with all aspects of the beverage program including curation, tasting, staff education, inventory management and purchasing. You will also play a role as an active bartender during service, and will be responsible for creating a positive work culture by personally exemplifying our core values. 
Responsibilities Include...

  • Growing and maintaining a thriving bar business that meets and exceeds sales targets.
  • Ensuring all beverage-related expenses are performing at or below budget.
  • Implementing proper systems and procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the beverage program.
  • Performing weekly and monthly inventory of beverage products
  • Preparing materials and assisting in training of the Service and Bar teams to increase knowledge and salesmanship of our beverage offerings.
  • Ensuring that all POS systems, inventory systems, beverage lists and any other information related to the beverage program remain accurate and up to date, and changes are communicated to the team.
  • Maintain excellent organization, and cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring that all beverage supplies are available, and the bar is compliant with Department of Health regulations at all times.

The right candidate will have...

  • A minimum of three years of experience working behind a bar in a fast-paced, high volume, fine dining restaurant.
  • A minimum of one year of experience managing beverage inventory
  • Extensive knowledge of beverage with an emphasis on Italian wines and spirits
  • An unparalleled commitment to hospitality and customer service.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a high-pressure work environment.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • General computer skills required.
