The Human Resources Manager plays an integral role in the organization by providing full range HR support to the RegO locations in Elon, Burlington, Whitsett and Conover, NC. In this role, you will be the liaison between Human Resources and Functional Leadership to support business needs while improving the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and programs.

SCOPE:

The Human Resources Manager plays an integral role in the organization by providing full range HR support to the RegO locations in NC. In this role, you will be the liaison between Human Resources and Functional Leadership to support business needs while improving the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and programs.

This position requires flexibility with assigned duties and willingness to take on new tasks. It is critical the HR Manager effectively demonstrates a hands-on attitude, be willing to go the extra distance to ensure employee expectations are met, and communicate concisely and honestly within the HR department and to all employees, managers, and the leadership team. Must be able to contribute in a fast-paced environment. This position has one direct report and reports to the Plant Manager of the Elon and Burlington plants.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations headcount strategy for current and future needs
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; required to collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand skills and competencies required for job openings
  • Support current and future business needs through employee development, engagement, and motivation
  • Provide support and guidance to the HR Generalist, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive employee questions and issues arise; required to execute tasks in delicate circumstances such as reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Provide HR reporting and recommendations to management and leadership using HR metrics
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Some local travel will be required between facilities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Human Resources Manager with multi-site responsibilities
  • Demonstratable interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Use sound judgement and demonstrated ability to make concise, time sensitive decisions
  • Demonstratable experience with HR metrics
  • Demonstratable ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure
  • Excellent active listening and presentation skills
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • In-depth knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and other HR application systems and databases


PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.
  • HR Manager responsibilities within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment preferred.
