Analytics Data Engineer - Snowflake, SnowSQL, Databricks

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer with expertise in SnowSQL, AWS, and Databricks, and a deep understanding of complex analytics on the Snowflake database platform. As a pivotal member of the data team, you will lead the design and implementation of sophisticated SQL-based analytical solutions, leveraging cloud technologies to drive actionable insights and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

1. Advanced SQL Development: Lead the design and development of complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to perform advanced analytics, including cohort analysis, time series forecasting, and trend analysis, within Snowflake.
2. Cloud Platform Integration: Leverage AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Lambda to build scalable data pipelines and integrate data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
3. Databricks Implementation: Utilize Databricks for advanced data processing, machine learning, and big data analytics, integrating with Snowflake for seamless data access and analysis.
4. Data Modeling and Optimization: Design and optimize database schemas, table structures, and indexing strategies in Snowflake to support efficient data retrieval and analysis, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
5. Performance Tuning and Query Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries and database operations using Snowflake's performance monitoring tools, AWS services, and Databricks optimizations.

Technical Skills Required:
