Job Summary:
Perform inspection of aircraft components during their assembly, installation, and adjustment to insure that the workmanship and materials conform to the aircraft manufacturers’ specifications, maintenance manual procedures and FAR requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Ascertain that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work and that the proper inspection records, reports, and forms used by the Repair Station are properly executed prior to releasing the product for return to service.
· To ensure that all maintenance is performed in accordance with generally accepted industry standards and maintenance practices, appropriate FAA regulations, manufacturer's recommendations and the operator’s manual.
· Determining parts Certification and serviceability.
· Perform aircraft records research.
· Develop & maintain aircraft status sheets.
· Assisting in Repair Station training and Training Records
· Performing internal Repair Station audits and assisting with
external audits of Repair Station suppliers and service providers.
· Performing aircraft area and panel closeouts.
· Assuring proper execution of FAA Form 337, 8130-10 and 8110.
· Ensuring that all Repair Station activities are consistent with the limitations of the Repair Station certificate and Service Center requirements.
· Perform random checks of Repair Station Manuals to ensure currency.
· Determining that no defective, unserviceable, or un-airworthy parts are installed on any aircraft, engine, or component thereof released by the Repair Station for the purpose of return to service.
· Conducting preliminary, hidden damage, in process, and final inspection of all articles processed by the Repair Station.
· Assuring the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as outlined in the Repair Station/Quality manual and final disposition of rejected parts.
· Ensuring that incoming and outgoing aircraft records are complete and accurate.
· Performing weight and balance computations
· Compliance in obtaining STC or Field approvals
· Work order review
· Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments necessary to perform job assignments
· Proper knowledge of completion of FAA form 8130-3
· Minimum three (3) years’ experience in aviation maintenance environment.
· Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
· Must have manual dexterity required for technician
· Extensive knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and equipment
· Ability to read blueprints and/or drawings
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient Computer skills including electronic mail, Microsoft Word and Excel
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize with little to no supervision
· Must be able to read and write in English
· Communicates well, both verbally and in writing
· Flexible and able to easily adjust to change
· Results and detail oriented
· Excellent work ethic that demonstrates dedication, concern for safety, and integrity
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· A&P License required
· IA License preferred but not required
· Must have current experience with various Helicopter airframes and maintenance on Airbus, Leonardo, and Bell models
· Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal English
· Valid driver's license required
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift up to 50LBS
· Ability to use arms, hands, and legs to accomplish tasks
· Ability to stand, sit, and squat for extended periods of time sometimes in tight spaces
· Ability to climb with balance on and off aircraft
Working Conditions
· Required to work frequently near moving mechanical parts.
· Required to work in outside weather conditions.
· Exposed to loud noise levels.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· May be required to work after hours and on weekends as needed.
Occasional travel required to support off-site customers, approximately 10%.
