Overview:

As a BI Analyst and Consultant for our Retail SaaS Platform, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic conversations to enable data-driven decision-making and executive alignment with our retail customers. This position requires a deep understanding of both business intelligence principles and retail industry dynamics. You will be responsible for analyzing data, developing insights, and providing actionable recommendations to optimize our customers' retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough analysis of merchandising and retail data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

· Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights for customers

· Utilize your extensive retail industry knowledge to interpret data in the context of visual merchandising, retail operations, customer behavior, and market trends

· Collaborate with customers to understand their specific business goals and challenges

· Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions, providing consultation on BI strategies

· Work closely with the development team to understand platform data and glean insights to bring additional value to customers

· Define and monitor key metrics related to retail performance, ensuring customers have access to accurate, and relevant data

· Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to advise customers effectively.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

· Proven experience as a BI Analyst or Consultant with a focus on the retail industry

· Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.)

· Experience with a variety of BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

· Familiarity with SaaS platforms and understanding of retail technology trends

· Problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
