Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to play a pivotal role in developing and executing the BI strategy, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy. This role requires expertise in BI tools, analytics solutions, data visualization, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

1. BI Strategy

• Lead the development and execution of the organization's BI strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Oversee predictive modeling to extract actionable insights.

1. Tool Development

• Oversee BI Tools, reporting systems, and data analysis activities—including data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling, to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Ensure that tools are user-friendly and scalable.

1. Stakeholder Collaboration
   • In collaboration with organizational leaders, develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy, establishing the data architecture required to enhance decision-making processes, support the organization’s mission, and optimize the use of data across all functions of the organization.
   • Collaborate with senior management to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement through data analytics.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Create and manage comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with timely, relevant, and accurate information.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and data protection regulations.
• Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years proven experience in a BI leadership role, with demonstrated strong track record of project management and team leadership.
• Deep understanding of BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, etc) with the ability to implement complex data visualizations.
• Strong analytical skills, including data mining, SQL, and data modeling with the ability to apply data insights to business challenges.
• Experience with database management systems.
• Familiarity with online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes are a plus.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices, data quality management, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts in terms that are understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strength in driving a data-driven culture within the organization.
• Based in Salt Lake City, Utah or Minneapolis, MN.
