The Opportunity:

Role Overview:

The Director/Sr. Director of Sales Enablement will be responsible for developing and executing sales enablement programs that drive revenue growth and improve sales efficiency for our sales team. Reporting to the SVP, Product Marketing, this individual will manage and lead a team of sales enablement leaders who work with product marketing, product managers, sales leaders, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that our sales team is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to sell our products effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy aligned with OpenText's objectives and sales goals.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and training teams to identify sales enablement needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and deliver sales training programs, workshops, and materials to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Create sales playbooks, tools, and resources to support the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Implement and manage sales enablement technologies and platforms to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and feedback to continuously refine and optimize sales enablement initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales representatives to ensure consistent execution of best practices and strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on sales methodologies, industry trends, and competitive insights.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, promotions, and campaigns effectively.

What It Takes To Succeed:

  • At least 15 years of professional experience with at least 8-10 years in a Sales Enablement function, and 5 in leading global teams.
  • Experience in enterprise software
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product enablement strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
