OpenTech Alliance is Hiring a BDM Level I Near Phoenix, AZ

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business through identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and contributing to the overall expansion strategy. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute plans to attract new clients and increase revenue. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Identify and engage with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders to generate new business leads.
  • Use OpenTech’s CRM system to document all customer interaction
  • Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to facilitate business development opportunities.
  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and in-person meetings to establish and nurture business relationships.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends.
  • Analyze market data and competitor information to develop strategic plans and recommendations.

Business Strategy Development:

  • Assist in developing and implementing effective business development strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Provide accurate, timely pipeline reports and sales forecasts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify target markets and segments for new business initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and investment opportunities.

Proposal Development and Negotiation:

  • Prepare persuasive proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage existing accounts along with the Territory CSM to cross sell products and services
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing valuable insights and solutions.
  • Resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Level 1 (BDM 1): 1-4 years experience

  • Has fundamental knowledge of critical aspects of the area of work.
  • Performs straightforward tasks to generally acceptable standards.
  • Able to achieve some steps independently but needs supervision for overall tasks.
  • Appreciates and identifies complex situations; is able to achieve partial resolutions.
