This position will be from 10:00am-6:30pm. You will be working with all different age groups.

Our Floater Assistants encourage the healthy social, intellectual and physical growth of the children in our facilities. You will provide supervision while interacting with the children in your care. We are a Lutheran preschool that shares Jesus' love with our children, families and each other. We provide a caring, professional work environment and would love to consider you for this position!

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing, etc.) to enhance the child’s abilities
• Be able to communicate with parents and update them on the progress of their children
• Observe children’s interactions and promote positivity
• Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources

Skills

• Proven experience in child care
• Ability to maintain a safe learning environment
• Patience, flexibility and love for children
• Strong communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
