Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team. As a Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. - Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to stimulate learning and development
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn, play, and explore
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging educational activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a positive and cohesive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, identifying areas of improvement or additional support needed
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom
Requirements:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or preschool setting is preferred
- A degree in early childhood education or a related field is highly desirable
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and structured learning environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to provide nurturing care while maintaining professional boundaries
- First aid certification is a plus
