Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the preschool curriculum
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with diverse learning needs
- Foster social skills, emotional development, and positive behavior through effective classroom management strategies
- Plan and organize activities that promote physical education, creativity, and cognitive development
- Assess student progress through ongoing observation, documentation, and assessment tools
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and developmental milestones
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation strategies
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for young children
