Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Southfield, Michigan
Pay Rate: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
You will love working as an Accounts Payable Clerk for this very successful, stable and rapidly growing company in Southfield.
If you have a background working in Accounts Payable roles or in Accountant roles or experience working in a similar type of accounting or finance role, this could be the perfect job for you.
What you'll be doing:
* You will follow established procedures and guidelines to perform accounting functions accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
* Analytical thinker who is organized, self-motivated and attentive to detail.
* Knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
* Ability to prioritize.
* Ability to adhere to and respect deadlines and due dates.
* Desire to share best practices and knowledge with colleagues.
* Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in accounting or finance or a related area is preferred.
* Knowledge of SAP software is preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
