Job Summary & Responsibilities Onto Innovation is looking for a Revenue Analyst that will be a key member of our finance team. The position will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of revenue and will work closely with management to analyze variances to forecasts. This will be a key position in the group and will be heavily relied upon to ensure accurate financial information is produced and appropriate accounting controls are maintained. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to use accounting knowledge and analytical skills to add value and assist in meeting the department's objectives while working in a fast-paced environment. Ensure the accurate reporting of bookings, billings, revenue, deferred revenue, costs-to-acquire, and costs-to-fulfill for supported business units Support the Deal Desk for review of key contractual terms and provide guidance on deal structuring to achieve optimal revenue recognition for Onto Innovation Prepare gross margin forecasts by revenue opportunity and prepare monthly/quarterly reporting of gross margin by product, region, and business unit Perform month-end close procedures associated with revenue including journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis of revenue versus budget/forecast. Prepare dashboards and metrics of key revenue KPI’s in PowerBI and Prophix Ensure all SOX processes are performed in a timely manner. Develop new controls as needed Identify and implement process and system improvements, including maintaining and development of KPI’s and internal reporting Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process of revenue, bookings, and backlog Provide supporting schedules and analysis to auditors as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 5 years of revenue and general accounting or financial analysis experience Experience with SAP ERP and Salesforce Experience in documenting and improving existing systems and processes Knowledge: Working knowledge of ASC 606 and multi-element accounting in a capital equipment or manufacturing environment Skills: Strong analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Onto Innovation is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
