Job Summary & Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer the Senior Director of Business Operations and Strategy will be responsible for executing a significant Global ERP implementation/migration utilizing both internal and external resources and subject matter experts. The role will partner with the business in setting strategic and tactical direction, ensuring the efficacy of core process, and the alignment of Onto’s overarching platform strategy. The successful candidate will have a solid track record of delivering complex cross organizational/domain projects, building effective business partnerships, leading business process, and information technology initiatives. Responsibilities: Execute a comprehensive enterprise application implementation strategy in alignment with the organization's business objectives. Accountable for developing and managing the end-to-end business process migration strategy, tactics, project plan and timeline in conjunction with the office of the COO to achieve the Global ERP programs goals. Implement Business Process Management (BPM) best practices and establish a central BP repository with a robust change control process to maintain the integrity of the operational business processes. Be the bridge between supply chain, manufacturing, finance, IT, and stakeholders, communicating and translating between different perspectives and views about business process using terminology to match the audience. Define, develop, and execute the new Operating Model as part of the new Global ERP implementation. Influence and drive System Integrators (SI) strategy and approach to cater to business objectives and synthesize an integrated strategy and roadmap. Collaborate with Business Units to define a technology implementation roadmap, and a long-term vision for core systems (ERP). Conduct, as applicable, various business workshops to drive business process standardization and achieve maximum out-of-box ERP functionality. Be the voice of the customer in the Global ERP implementation program and ensure all the requirements and pain-points are captured and addressed. Develop the end-to-end change management strategy and act as the change agent to drive successful rollout of the new Global ERP platform. Develop and articulate a clear vision for Onto’s enterprise ecosystem and aligning technology investments with the organization's strategic goals. Work closely with various teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities using ERP and adjacent systems. Define the business cases needed with the program teams and process owners, defining the business outcomes, including the current baseline and the future target metrics including but not limited to leading and lagging indicators, and linking these to strategic key performance indicators (KPIs) and Onto’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Provide regular reports to leadership on implementation progress, system performance and project status. Implementing the team to engage with the business, identify new functionality, develop compelling business cases, prioritize projects, and develop plans that maximize system effectiveness. Drive overall business process governance. Remove obstacles, close gaps and manage/mitigate risk to ensure delivery on time, and on budget. Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Financial Leadership teams, and provide technical leadership around corporate technology ecosystem strategy and investment. Effectively initiate, plan, schedule, control, and bring to closure multiple high priority projects. Qualifications 10 years’ experience in high-tech industry, preferably semiconductor. 10 years’ experience leading the implementation and optimization of large scale, global enterprise applications. Recent experience executing a significant ERP implementation, migration, or upgrade utilizing both internal and external resources. Preferable experience with Oracle Demonstrated end-to-end enterprise level business process management implementation alongside enabling systems implementation. Ability to maintain a consistent and balanced presence with stakeholders to understand and proactively mitigate risks and issues. Problem solving expertise and analytical skills with complimentary written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with synthesizing complex information and reporting status to executive leadership in a concise and consistent way. Strong business understanding of core best practices in Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Finance enabling the development of foundational process, and a refined systems architecture to support. Experience partnering with project managers to deliver highly complex multi-phase initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, or related field of study. MBA preferred.
