Ontario County (Department of Human Resources) is Hiring a Dispatcher II (HELP Program) Near Canandaigua, NY
The Ontario County Office of Sheriff is currently seeking applicants to fill multiple Dispatcher II positions at the 911 Call Center.
Through the NYS Civil Service Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) program a civil service exam is not needed for this position. After one year of employment you will be granted competitive status.
Rate of Pay: $23.86/hr. (plus comprehensive benefits package includes paid holidays, paid leave, 2% match to deferred compensation, full health and dental insurance, wellness program, EAP, professional development training, and NYS Retirement pension)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school, or higher, or possession of high school equivalency diploma (GED) or Two (2) years of full-time paid experience, or its part-time equivalent, as a call taker or dispatcher in a computer aided public safety dispatch/communications position.
