OnSpot Dermatology is seeking an experienced full-time Medical Assistant!

Prior EMA/Modernizing Medicine experience is preferred, will train the right candidate.

OnSpot is an innovative mobile dermatology practice in Southwest Florida that provides full-service dermatology care for resident communities and businesses alike. We utilize two 45' mobile medical clinics in the Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, and Naples area. Our mission is to improve access to dermatologic care while making appointments convenient, efficient, and patient-centered. Our state-of-the-art mobile medical vehicles include multiple private exam rooms for patients.

If you are a Medical Assistant/Surgical Medical Assistant with experience in dermatology looking to assist in true patient-centered care, OnSpot is the place for you.

Ideal candidates must be self-starters, dependable, and able to work with a team. The drive to provide excellent customer service is also a valued personal trait here at OnSpot. We are seeking full-time MAs, Monday through Friday with an additional Saturday hours prn. 7:15AM to 4PM.

If you were to be offered a job with OnSpot, this is what your day may look like:

· Room and intake patients completing the medical history, chief complaint, and review of systems.

· Scribe for the provider.

· Assist the provider during MOHS and excisions prn.

· Assist the provider as needed on minor procedures prn.

· Order additional testing, as requested by the provider.

· Ensure all specimens are meticulously labeled, processed, and sent to the appropriate lab as needed.

· Check medical supplies

· Schedule follow-up appointments when needed.

· Be willing to perform duties outside your normal job description when you have available hours.

· Smile, converse and treat all patients in a warm and friendly manner.

OnSpot Medical Assistants, Surgical Medical Assistants and MOHS techs are a critical part of the healthcare team, providing the first “clinical” impression and representing the provider they are working with. OnSpot is a new concept in health care that brings the practice directly to the patients to make it convenient for residents to see a provider. Our highly trained dermatology providers conduct skin cancer screenings, biopsy suspicious lesions, treat skin disorders, surgically manage premalignant and malignant skin lesions as well as perform injectable cosmetic procedures.
