We are excited to share a new opportunity! PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, has been given an opportunity to assist a top employer in Fort Myers! The ideal candidate will be reliable, responsible and will have some experience as a records assistant.
Location : Fort Myers
Schedule : Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $16 - $18 / HR DOE
Job duties include:
- Preparing patient charts and gathering information and documents from patients
- Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate and complete
- Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically
- Filing the paperwork and reports of inpatients quickly and accurately
- Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards
- Transferring data into the facility's main system database
- Processing the records for admitting and discharging patients
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to take assessment skill tests which may include, but not limited to Excel, Word, and Typing
- Interpersonal and human relations skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to maintain records and files.
- Able to provide 2 professional references
