POSITION SUMMARY:

The SEO Strategist evaluates the client’s online presence and builds a roadmap of work to be completed by our Fulfillment Teams. This position uses our tools to analyze and audit client accounts for the best rankings possible using the client’s budget. SEO Strategists also conduct site audits of clients’ websites to focus on improving various aspects of a company’s website to maintain a stronger presence, increase conversions from those visiting a website, and ensure the website maintains SEO best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define focus keywords to be used with a client’s account by analyzing the site, competitor sites, and analytics. These keywords are used to measure client ranking.
• Identify KPIs and develop measurement plans for Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools for enterprise-level clients, and create dashboards for accurate and regular reporting on progress toward goals. Define and set up goals and event tracking in Google Analytics to be implemented on client websites.
• Evaluate the client’s site for SEO opportunities. Use this target to build a plan.
• Create tasks in the system for follow on activities at 3 and 6-month intervals
• Work with the Client Success teams to adjust plans to ensure continued success for the customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Hands-on SEO experience with a strong technical focus
• Experience building SEO plans for customers that deliver success year after year.
• Read and write basic HTML
• SEO Site Analyst and or SEO Site Audit experience needed
• Knowledge of technical aspects of search engines and search engine updates
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Google Docs, and SEO Tools (Raven Tools, SpyFu, Moz, Majestic, Keywords Analyzer, SEOQuake, RankChecker, and more)
• Must be able to communicate both in verbal and written form in English

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience analyzing and understanding Google Webmaster Tools
• Experience optimizing SEO within CRM environments. Building roadmaps, creating lists of needed works for SEO Value
• Experience with A/B and/or multivariate testing
• Experience creating and executing search engine marketing campaigns
• Experience with advanced analytics implementation (Google Analytics), rank monitoring, and database tools, including the leading SEO software tools. (Certification Preferred) 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is not a remote position. The office is in Murray, UT.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e. a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer)
