OneWorld operates fast-paced and exciting primary care clinics, and we are looking for a bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team. Our MAs are essential members of the clinical team, providing high-quality care to underserved populations in a culturally diverse setting. MAs at OneWorld work at the top of their license; they prep patients for their appointments, check vitals, assist providers with procedures, prepare specimens, manage patient call lists, stock, and clean exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and order medical supplies.
We are offering full-time and part-time positions at multiple locations (West Clinic 120th & L St, Bellevue Clinic off Ft. Crook Rd, 30th and L St Pediatrics and Women's Health). The schedule will generally be between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with rotating evening shifts (until 8pm) as needed for clinic.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED required OR must be actively pursuing a High School Diploma/GED.
- Medical Assisting diploma required; current AAMA certification preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Phlebotomy Certificate preferred.
- Medication Aide required within three months of hire.
- Prior healthcare experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office products required; prior experience with an Electronic Health Record is preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
