Job Summary:
Join the Cleveland Clinic team, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. The Hematology and Oncology department is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Institute, which is known for continuous clinical trials and cancer research to ensure our patients have access to the newest advances in cancer treatment.
As a Transplant Coordinator in the Liver transplant department, you will organize all the programs and activities for our transplant patients. In addition, you will provide education on the transplant process to patients and their support members. A Transplant Coordinator is responsible for understanding proper treatments plans for various transplant patients. Your primary duties will include:
•Evaluating potential transplant candidates.
•Arranging care during all transplant phases.
•Monitoring, recording, and communicating patients’ conditions as appropriate.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
•Continuously stays motivated.
•Is empathetic.
•Can critically think and problem solve for patients’ best interests.
