One Off Hospitality Group Ltd is Hiring a Guest Relations Concierge Near Chicago, IL

For over 20 years, One Off Hospitality has developed and operated some of Chicago’s most beloved places to eat and drink. More importantly, we’re a group of people – chefs, hospitality veterans, managers and creators – who believe in the power of treating our guests like family and our restaurants like home.

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional with the drive to offer genuine support and assistance to all One Off Hospitality guests. This position manages multiple forms of incoming inquiries including phone calls, emails, and SMS messages from all One Off Hospitality concepts. We are searching for a candidate that is motivated to form guest connections and provide strong problem-solving in a way that offers high-end service. The Guest Relations Concierge will report to the Director of Guest Experiences.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Offer a high-end experience with personalized assistance for all guest inquiries.
  • Manage all incoming calls, emails, and SMS messages during non-service hours.
  • Have detailed knowledge of each concept to assist with questions.
  • Maintain communication with the Restaurant Teams as needed, including alerting the teams to incoming VIPs, Media, etc.
  • Listen to voicemails and move forward with proper follow up.
  • Taking comprehensive guest notes as needed with each call/email/message.
  • Properly tagging and noting guest reservations in Tock.
  • Always offering alternative options if the original request cannot be met.
  • Following the close of each workday, notifying the Restaurant Teams of any unresolved or outstanding inquiries.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience working with Tock reservation platform is preferred.
  • Experience with problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple incoming inquiries in different formats, while maintaining a high level of hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • A strong sense of urgency while exuding a calm demeanor
  • Motivation and tenacity to resolve any question or issue that comes your way for the good of the guest.
  • A desire to learn and grow.
  • We are seeking an individual who has the innate personality to offer warmth with every interaction.

Hours & Pay:

  • The Guest Relations Concierge will work on-site at a One Off Location with a provided company computer and Access One phone / messaging set up
  • We offer the following compensation for this position: A rate of $20/hour
  • This position will work on a 9am to 5pm schedule.

Benefits: 

  • Group insurance benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurance, all subject to plan eligibility. 
  • Employee dining discounts for up to four (4) guests: 25% off at any One Off Hospitality location, and 50% off at your home location.
  • Up to forty (40) hours of paid sick leave per year, to be accrued hourly and used and/or rolled over in accordance with the City of Chicago Paid Sick Leave Ordinance.
  • Up to forty (40) hours of paid time off per year, to be accrued hourly starting on your 1st day. 
  • Eligibility to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan following 12 months of employment provided you are at least 21 years of age and have worked at least 1,000 hours.
