One Credit Union is Hiring a Bookkeeper Near Springfield, VT
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have:
- Good understanding of GAAP accounting principles with strong attention to detail.
- Experience posting journal entries accurately and timely, preparing various financial and regulatory reports as needed (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Comfort with numbers and analytical acumen.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience verifying teller transactions and reconciling them as needed.
- Be comfortable preparing requisitions for office, computer and routine supply purchases
- Assist Senior Accounting staff in preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end closings.
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in accounting or finance and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Wages commensurate with experience and skillsets
