One Community Health is Hiring a Receptionist- White Salmon & Stevenson, WA Near White Salmon, WA

One Community Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our Welcome Team at the White Salmon and Stevenson, Washington clinic locations. The Receptionist is responsible for a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and answering patient phone calls. Let's start this adventure together and create a healthier, happier world, one patient at a time! This position is full-time, Monday-Friday (9am-6pm). Clinic location requirements are Monday-Tuesday in Stevenson, WA and Wednesday-Friday in White Salmon, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient registration, including checking patients in and obtaining demographic and billing/insurance information.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Receive patient payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Answer and screen telephone calls, delivering messages in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and experience with multi-line telephones.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High school graduate or G.E.D.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Post high school education in office/clerical coursework.
  • Experience working in the medical industry or a call center environment.
  • Experience working with low-income, multi-ethnic populations.

Compensation:

  • Hourly/Non-Exempt: $21.00 per hour
  • Weekend Differential: This position receives base hourly pay along with an extra $10.00 for each hour worked on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
  • Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
