One Community Health is hiring a part-time or full-time Refill/Referrals Medical Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring all referrals are handled in an efficient manner and is responsible for ensuring all refill requests are handled in a safe and efficient manner. Additionally, this position is responsible for covering planned time off for other team members and for limited unplanned coverage. This position is hybrid-remote and will need to work a minimum of 3 days a week in our White Salmon office.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum one year experience working in a medical environment. Previous experience in outpatient primary care preferred.
• Able to communicate in person, in writing, and by phone with sensitivity demonstrating respect and professionalism.
• Proficient computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook, Epic EHR, and EPM Systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
