Located at our office in Naperville, IL our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience. A regular in-office HYBRID model is required (generally in office Tues/Wed/Thurs. and remote M & F).
Position Summary
Reporting to the VP of Salesforce and Custom Applications, the Director, Salesforce and Integrations role is responsible for the delivery, management, and implementation of applications and solutions that support Oncourse Agent facing call center applications, Salesforce, and APIM platform. The Director of Salesforce and Integrations is an influential role, making priority trade-off decisions, managing resource demand and supply, and recruiting and developing high performing teams.
In this role, you will mentor, motivate, and grow a high performing team of talented managers, engineers, and foster a culture of execution excellence, continuous improvement, sense of urgency and long-term growth. You will be working on best-in-class Cloud and SaaS solutions, with focus on Salesforce and leveraging emerging technologies. The successful candidate will work in a vibrant environment with world-class peers and is expected to display leadership, innovation, and flexibility as well as exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the Salesforce and APIM teams to engage with the business and identify new functionality, develop compelling business cases, prioritize projects, and develop plans that maximize return on investment for the company.
  • Lead multiple teams managing all aspects of application development and delivery across multiple functions, and business units.
  • Direct accountability for Technology Transformation across our Contact center technologies that include the Implementation for Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud CRM, call analytics, Knowledge management, and agent workforce management.
  • Foster a strong customer service mind-set throughout the application development team, while championing thought leadership and partnership with the business.
  • Partner with business leaders to create robust solution roadmaps that are integrated with architecture and operations.
  • Identify emerging technology trends, especially in SaaS solutions, cloud computing, automation and DevOps and ensure the company is leveraging them when appropriate to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive value.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor software development policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Recruit, develop and retain high caliber Salesforce and APIM development talent, especially for key positions, and develop a succession plan.
  • Build a culture of innovation and engagement, focusing on strengthening the organization’s employer brand to position Oncourse Home Solutions as an IT employer of choice.
  • Be an execution leader driving business outcome with a combination of inhouse team and outsourced services, both onshore and offshore.
  • Collaborate with the project management & QA to define releases, negotiate, and drive platform implementation to meet requirements while reducing tech debt.
  • Build strong collaboration with other IT leaders, with an emphasis on optimizing overall IT value to the business, versus individual team successes.
  • Foster a culture of transparency and a sense of purpose among the team, challenging old paradigms while creating clear accountabilities and performance metrics.

Experience and Qualifications of the Role
  • 15 years of experience in leading architecture, design, development, implementation, and support of complex enterprise-class IT solutions
  • 7 years’ experience directly managing implementation and enhancement of Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud CRM with focus on reduced call handling time, knowledge management, and agent performance.
  • 7 years’ experience in an engineering leadership role including coaching/mentoring managers and leads.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, Omni-Channel, Amazon connect, secured call recording solutions, workforce management systems, Data and Analytics, DevOps is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with REST API and one or more of the leading API Management platforms including Jitterbit Harmony, MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi, MS APIM, etc. is strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of system architecture, technical design, and system and software development technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of technologies from infrastructure to systems development to cloud architecture and SaaS. Must be able to dive deep with the team and guide the work to ensure a proper delivery of needed outcomes.
  • Able to attract, develop and retain talent and build high performing application development teams.
  • Ability to foster a culture of transparency and a sense of purpose among the team, challenging old paradigms while creating clear accountabilities and performance metrics.
  • Able to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms.

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
  • Salesforce tools and technologies including Flows, Lightning Components, Apex, SOQL, etc.
  • REST API, Open API specification (Swagger, RAML), and APIM platforms

Salesforce Certification
Education 
Undergraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, information systems, business, or a related field. An MS, MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
