Position Overview:

The Drug Screen Collector will support the community workforce through the collection of client specimens for pre-employment, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing. The Drug Screen Collector will be required to adhere to custody and control form instructions and interdepartmental guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the facility is in full compliance with all Clinic Policies, Federal and State Laws and Regulations
• Establishes Nursing Practice Standards consistent with appropriate regulations.
• Responsible for training, evaluation and retention of nursing staff
• Schedules nursing staff to meet client needs and regulatory and budgetary standards Fills in for nursing staff, including weekends
• Ensures that medical records are in compliance
• Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and be 18 years of age or older
• Medical Assistant or Lab Tech experience preferred
• Experience with computerized software programs such as Microsoft Office and electronic health record or practice management programs

Requirements:

Physical Demands: General office demands including sitting and/or standing for long periods of time. Dexterity with general office equipment including but not limited to keyboard, mouse, and calculator. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines while adapting to a changing atmosphere. The employee will be expected to make judgement decisions, grasp new ideas, and communicate with various employees and clients at all levels.
