New Day Recovery in Niles, Ohio is looking to hire a Resident Monitor. This role would be responsible for providing client assistance in daily living, crisis intervention and other services to assist the client in the treatment process.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Under direction, ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision and values of Recovery Housing.
• Attend to the needs of the clientele while assisting their engagement in daily living.
• Respond and interact with clients and staff professionally, treating them with respect and dignity.
• Answer phones.
• Assist with Client Intakes.

Requirements:

• Combination of experience and education normally represented by High School Diploma with 1-2 years relevant work experience required.
• Must be able to form good working and therapeutic relationships.
• Must be organized, detail oriented and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must have competent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of computers and familiarity of Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with a team of professional staff desirable.
• Must be 18 years of age.

CPR/First Aid

Valid Driver’s License
