Position Overview:

Customer Care is the top priority and On Demand and New Day. We expect you to handle calls with enthusiasm, compassion and professionalism. Perform phone assessments, schedule appointments, advocate for treatment, answer client questions and treat our clients the way you would like to be treated.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary for all On Demand phone calls (General questions, Appointment Scheduling, etc) and secondary team for New Day Admissions.
  • Obtains applicant information and medical information and inputs to the designated system; verifying and clarifying information; interviewing patients and family members; explaining admission criteria.
  • Screens patients by comparing patient's condition to admission criteria; evaluating and accepting or rejecting patients; referring patients and family to other programs and institutions.
  • Communicate with staff regarding clients and service performed.
  • Schedule appointments for services and obtain necessary prior authorizations.
  • Properly and accurately document data
  • Outbound calls for referrals and past client follow up
  • Callbacks for missed calls and Voicemails
  • Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA guidelines
  • Transportation Coordination
  • Following processes and scripted procedures

Qualifications:

  • Professionalism and calm demeanor are essential for this client-facing position.
  • Medical office front desk, Call Center or administrative experience
  • Strong oral, and written communications skills
  • Understanding of confidentiality and discretion
  • Computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
  • Teamwork and the desire to help others succeed
