OmniForce Solutions is Hiring a Payroll Admin Near Kent, WA

As a part of a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety, this position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight.  Responsibilities:
  • Review, analyze and verify bi-weekly payroll results for accuracy.
  • Back up all payroll processing functions needed to support planned and unplanned absences.
  • Identify payroll issues and assist with proper adjustments as needed.
  • Follow general policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll wage and tax reporting after each pay period to ensure accurate filing between Workday and ADP.
  • Complete payroll reconciliations and audits in support of month-end, quarter-end, and year end activities.
  • Prepare payroll journal entries and perform various month-end close tasks.
  • Audit relocation expenses and recordation of W2 reportable transactions.
  • Monitors changes and remain current on legal, regulatory, or governmental requirements (e.g., wage and hour, garnishments, tax matters, 401(k) other compliance areas.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of full-time experience or AA or BS degree in Business or Accounting.
  • Payroll Certification (CPP) is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Excel including pivot tables, vlookups).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
