The Compliance Specialist ensures conformance of hospital activities with applicable laws, regulations, and standard operating procedures. Responsible for ensuring company’s policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards. Performs regular audits, implement company policies, and design control systems. Consults with Department Managers and Directors with regard to compliance and billing, monitors the departmental charge entry process and assists the Compliance Officer with staff adherence to the compliance program. Requires excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication with the ability to relate well to the public, physicians, and hospital employees at all levels.
