JOB SUMMARY:
The Endoscopy Short Stay Supervisor is responsible for the management of patient care and personnel activities in conjunction with the Endoscopy Short Stay Manager. The supervisor assists with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, which spans medical, surgical, and endoscopy patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric. is Leads patient centered efforts through data driven decisions. The supervisor will build teams through modeling leadership and demonstration of: Critical thinking skills, financial stewardship, leading quality improvement projects, departmental needs assessment, and evaluation of staff performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
B.S.N. preferred.
Experience
Minimum of two to five years recent Endoscopy/Short Stay/ambulatory care unit experience. Previous management experience preferred.
Licensure/Credentials
Current Washington State RN license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current Advanced Life Care Support (ACLS) certification – 90 days to obtain
Preferred Credentials in one or more of the following: CNOR, ASPAN, ASGNA, ABPANC, RN-BC
